Martin Hayes is one of the greatest Irish fiddlers touring the world today. He is the winner of two All Ireland championships.

After using his new bow handmade for him by Greg Dahms for the first time at a concert in Dayton Ohio, Martin Hayes wrote:

"Greg: I've had a couple of days to use the bow that you have rehaired with the Argentine hair. It has very nice grip and is a great improvement over what it was before. This, of course, is particularly noticeable when playing a series of double stops, nice and even good control. A lot less effort is required to sound the strings to get a louder tone, makes playing a delight. Excellent job on the rehair also. I also put on the silver Tonica D. I like the way it tends to bridge the G and A tonally. It seems to actually improve the sound of these 2 strings also by association. I'm a happy camper. Rod"
